I fell in love with web design in high school and pursued it through college, earning my bachelor’s degree. For years, I balanced being a mom with working on web design projects on the side. In January 2024, I launched Marie Gems with journals and stickers, and by August 2024, after having my sixth child, I felt ready to fully step into offering web design services, bringing my passion back with more confidence than ever.

In 2020, I began diving deeper into marketing, exploring strategies like content creation, email marketing, and SEO to strengthen the impact of my web designs. These skills were crucial for helping businesses grow their online presence, and I integrated them into my freelance projects.

By 2018, I was freelancing here and there, taking on small web design projects for friends and businesses. I also started focusing on learning the marketing side of web design, understanding how to create a brand and engage audiences effectively.
